ANNOUNCEMENTS

On Tuesday May 13th the Jazz Band will be playing with the Grossmont College Jazz Band and Latin Jazz Percussion Ensemble @ Cuyamaca College in the theater. Concert starts at 7:00 P.M.

May 23rd details: 6:30 start time @ El Camino H.S. theater. Performance groups in order:
El Camino II, Oceanside, El Camino I, San Marcos, Mission Hills, Valhalla, Honor Jazz Ens.

The monthly booster meeting will move to Monday, the 12th.

Reminder to all students:  If you signed up for the SmartMusic subscription on the handout in class and have not already done so, we need your subscription fee turned in when we get back from Spring Break. Future assignments will be done via the SmartMusic system so all will need access to get the work.  The 12 students who signed up for a scholarship will have their subscription available when we get back.  The one-year subscription is $25 and make the checks out to "RSDMF."  Thank you.

GROSSMONT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT HONOR BAND CONCERT

Congratulations to the Grossmont Union High School District Honor Band for their superior concert performance at Point Loma Nazarene University on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 7:30 in the evening.  The concert was conducted by Jerry F. Junkin, University of Texas Austin and featured a world premier performance of Baron la Croix's Shuffle by Donald Grantham.
