Programs

Valhalla High School offers a variety of instrumental music and color guard programs.

Fall Season – 1st Semester:

• Band and Color Guard Camp – 2 weeks – begins approx two weeks before school
• Marching Band & Color Guard evening practices 2 times/week
• Field Show performances at VHS Football Games (home games only)
• 4-6 Parade and/or Field Show competitions during October and November (usually Saturdays)

Winter/Spring Season – 2nd Semester:

• Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, String Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Winter Guard
• Band and Orchestra Festivals, Jazz Festivals, Ensemble and Solo Festivals between February and May (Weekdays and Saturdays)
• Drumline – currently an extra-curricular activity (funded separately)
