Cadet Band

Description

Cadet Band is designed for students who have the desire to play a band instrument (excluding percussion) but have little or no prior experience. Some instruments are available from the program to check out and use, so ownership of an instrument is not a prerequisite to enrolling. This group combines with the Concert Band for the concert season. Because of the performance nature of this class, participation in rehearsals and performances before, during and after the regular school day is a mandatory part of the course curriculum. During the fall semester, must be concurrently enrolled in the Marching Band.
