RSDMF (Rancho San Diego Music Foundation)

Welcome to a new school year. Your Instrumental Music and Color Guard students are working hard to develop, prepare and present their new programs. They look forward to your support.

Our students are excited, motivated and enthused. They work hard together as a team, create long-lasting friendships, and help themselves stand out in the college application process. They are in an environment of positive role models and learn that practice and hard work lead to applause by the audience and awards by the judges. Unfortunately, the Instrumental Music and Color Guard students receive very little support from our School District's State Budget.

The Rancho San Diego Music Foundation (RSDMF) is organized to support your students and assist the VHS Staff. Assistance comes in many forms, such as adjusting uniforms to fit growing teenagers, driving the equipment trailers, passing water out to thirsty students, and much more. Please check out the RSDMF links to learn what we do and how you can become more involved.

Purpose and Objective

To aid, promote and sustain the Valhalla High School instrumental music and color guard programs, by providing financial and other support for those programs and activities, both in-classroom as well as out-of-classroom with costs not supported by the state.

Tax Exempt Foundation

The Rancho San Diego Music Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, which means your contributions are tax deductible. If you make a single contribution greater than $250 (that is, your check amount is greater than $250), the RSDMF can provide you with an acknowledgement of your donation. If you contribute $250 or less, your canceled check or bank statement satisfies the IRS documentation requirement.

If you wish to have an acknowledgement of your contribution, please send your request to the RSDMF CFO-Treasurer at rsdmf@vhsmusic.org and include your student's name.
