2007-2008 Band Donations
BAND DONATIONS are determined each year by the projected costs to run the program divided by the number of students (including Jazz Band and String Orchestra). This year's total is $730 for each Marching Band and Color Guard student and $500 for each Jazz and String Orchestra student. Three donation options are described below:
For Marching Band & Color Guard students:
Option #1: Monthly donation of $46.50 (over 10 months - September through June 2008) due the beginning of the month. Students are asked to participate in fundraising to make up the balance of the total cost.
Option #2: One donation of $465.00. Students are asked to participate in fundraising to make up the balance of the total cost.
Option #3: One donation of $730.00. Students can option out of all fundraising for the year.
As an incentive, $50 is deducted when the student’s full amount (either $465 or $730) is paid by November 1, 2007.
Donation options for String Orchestra and Jazz Band students:
Option #1: Monthly donation of $30 (over 10 months). Students are asked to participate in fundraising to make up the balance of the total cost.
Option #2: One donation of $300. Students are asked to participate in fundraising to make up the balance of the total cost.
Option #3: One donation of $500.00. Students can option out of all fundraising for the year.
The $50 incentive for paying the student’s full amount (either $300 or $500) by November 1, 2007 also applies.If a student participates in two programs (e.g., Marching Band and Jazz Band) his/her fee is the greater amount and only pays for one class (i.e., $730 for the Marching Band program).
For families with two students, the amount is the full payment as described for the first student and a sibling discount, which is half the payment of the second student.
Please make your checks payable to RSDMF (Rancho San Diego Music Foundation), write your student’s name in the check’s memo line and attach a copy of payment form.
If you prefer to pay by credit card (to earn points/mileage), open a free PayPal account and make your payment to rsdmusicfoundation@yahoo.com. The web link is https://www.paypal.com where you can sign up into a premier account. After going through all the steps, you put in the email address RSD Foundation <rsdmusicfoundation@yahoo.com> and follow the steps to send money directly. You will be able to list what you are paying for in a memo on the website.
Money should never be a reason why a student does not participate. We handle needs and situations on an individual basis and have offered scholarships in the past. Please call Mr. Almanza at 619.593.5431.
