Fundraisers

Fund raising is a viable part of any successful Music and Color Guard
program.  Without the funds raised by our music families, the program
would not be possible.  We have many opportunities for families to
participate in fundraisers throughout the year.  Each family needs to
take part in at least two.

Team Angel

As a Team Angel volunteer, we assist customers at Fashion Valley Shopping Center by answering basic directional and informational questions and carrying packages to their cars.  Team Angel is a program where we volunteer throughout the year and Fashion Valley pays for our services to help our music program.  To be able to participate we need a minimum of 22 volunteers (10 must be adults). We meet at the front parking lot at 11:45am, parent volunteers drive the students to Fashion Valley, and the students return by 6:30pm.  All volunteers need to wear black pants and shoes, and a white shirt - t-shirt, polo, without print showing.  Fashion Valley gives each person a vest to wear for the day. Bring money to buy yourself a meal and drink. Students sign up at school.  Parents can sign up by calling Cathy Gac at 619.670.0508.

Car Wash

Every student is encouraged to volunteer for at least 2 hours per car wash and talk to people about bringing their cars.  Dress comfortably, wear sunscreen, and come ready to work or show your spirit holding signs.  Car Washes will be scheduled throughout the year at different  locations.

Our first Car Wash for the school year is scheduled for Sunday, August 19, 2007 from  9:00am to 3:00pm.  It will be on the corner of Chase and Jamacha (near GG's).

Price: Donation.

Cherrydale Farms 

This is an opportunity for you and the students to sell quality gift wrap, candy, and other great products.

If you you, your friends or families are ordering online, please let them know that our school ID is 100280 so our Foundation will automatically get the credit.  Thank you to those who participated.

Escrip

Rummage Sales We need everyone to make donations to the Rummage Sale.  We also need parents to help price the items and run the sale.  Rummage sales will be scheduled throughout the  year.

Golf Tournament We always need parent volunteers to solicit sponsors, arrange for gift donations, and sign up golfers.

Annual Auction Our annual auction is a great night during the spring semester where everyone should attend.  We will need parent volunteers to send letters, visit vendors, solicit donations items, make baskets, and set up the room.
